Gen 2 Vectra pumps take standard PVC pipe sizes, and this is the coupler that makes it possible. EcoTech Marine's Gen 2 QuickCouple coupling kit connects the Vectra volute to your tank's plumbing, sold per model size as the S2, M2 or L2 kit. Unlike the first-generation coupler, the Gen 2 design accepts standard PVC pipe directly through EcoTech's "Easy Turn Grips", and it's the part most owners eventually replace after the original cracks or is lost during a service.

Which one do I need?

Match the kit to your pump size and generation, not just your plumbing diameter. This is the Gen 2 kit – it will not fit a Gen 1 Vectra S1, M1 or L1 volute, which uses a different, proprietary coupler thread. If your pump is an S1, M1 or L1, you need the separate Gen 1 collar and coupling kit instead.

Suitable for, and not suitable for

Suitable for Gen 2 Vectra S2, M2 or L2 owners replacing a worn, cracked or missing coupler, or reconfiguring plumbing to standard PVC sizes. Not suitable for Gen 1 Vectra S1, M1 or L1 pumps.

What's included

The collar and coupling hardware for one pump, matched to the variant ordered. EcoTech does not publish an itemised contents list beyond the collar and coupling assembly – plumbing pipe and the pump itself are not included.

Care and maintenance

When should I replace it?

Whenever the existing coupler is cracked, has lost its seal, or is missing after a service. EcoTech doesn't publish a fixed replacement interval – check it whenever the volute is apart for an impeller clean.

The matching Vectra impeller for your pump size, if servicing the pump at the same time.
A Vectra cable extension, if repositioning the pump further from its controller.
