Bioscape All in One Pond Filter Impellar with Shaft

Replaces the moving part that actually pumps the water. This is the genuine impeller and shaft assembly for the Bioscape All in One Submersible Pond Filter, fitting both the standard model (BIS670) and the UV-equipped model (BIS671). If the unit hums but doesn't pump, or flow has dropped even with clean sponges, a worn or jammed impeller is the most common cause.

Key features
  • Direct replacement — genuine impeller and shaft sized for the All in One pump body.
  • Fixes the most common no-flow fault — hair, string algae and grit around the impeller are the usual reason flow drops even after the sponges are clean.
  • One part for both models — the pump body is identical between BIS670 and BIS671; only the UV-C lamp differs between them.

Fitting

Unplug and lift the unit from the pond before opening the pump body. Bioscape's instructions for the All in One range are in the manuals section of the Bioscape website — check the impeller housing for hair and grit at the same time as fitting the new part, since debris left in the housing will cause the same fault again.

Suitable for, and not suitable for

Suitable for the Bioscape All in One Submersible Pond Filter, BIS670 and BIS671. Not a fit for Bioscape's canister filters or hang-on power filters, which use different pump assemblies.

Warranty and delivery

Common questions

My pump hums but doesn't move water — is this the fix?

It's the most likely one. A humming pump that isn't pumping usually means the impeller is jammed or worn. Check for hair and grit first; if the impeller itself is chipped, cracked, or the magnet has degraded, replace it.

Does this fit the UV model?

Yes. BIS670 and BIS671 share the same pump body — the UV-C clarifier in BIS671 sits downstream of the pump, so the impeller and shaft are identical between the two.

How often should the impeller be replaced?

Bioscape doesn't publish a fixed interval — it depends on how much grit and debris passes through the intake. Replace it when flow drops and cleaning the housing doesn't restore it, or if the impeller shows visible wear or cracking.
