The baby pellet size (approx. 1.7–2.0 mm) suits goldfish and koi fry too small for standard adult pellets.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
All types of goldfish, and koi fry too small for adult koi pellets. Suits community goldfish ponds and aquariums as a daily staple.
Not suitable for: adult koi — choose a koi-specific pellet sized for a larger mouth. Not intended as a sole diet for species with different nutritional needs, such as cichlids or marine fish.

Feeding and storage
Feed two to four times daily, offering only what your fish will finish within about a minute. Remove uneaten food after each feeding to protect water quality. Store the pouch sealed in a cool, dry place and reseal firmly after each use.
Common questions
What's the difference between this and Goldfish Gold?
Staple is the everyday diet; Gold adds astaxanthin and phaffia yeast specifically to enhance colour. Both are baby pellets at the same size.
Will this feed koi as well as goldfish?
Yes for koi fry — the small pellet size suits young koi that can't yet manage adult-sized pellets. It is not sized for adult koi.
How much should I feed?
There's no fixed daily amount — feed only what's eaten within about a minute, two to four times a day, and adjust to the number and size of your fish.
Does it cloud the water?
Feeding only what fish finish in about a minute, and removing leftovers, is the main way to avoid clouding with any floating pellet.
