The exact carbon and phosphate refill for the Bioscape Velocity 2000 internal filter. This two-pack replaces the spent particulate foam, carbon and phosphate stage in a Velocity 2000 (2000 L/h, rated to 200 L aquariums), so the filter keeps clearing tannins, odours and phosphate instead of just pushing water through.

Which Velocity cartridge do I need?
Bioscape's Velocity range uses model-specific cartridges — the 2000's cartridge is not interchangeable with the smaller units.

Check your filter's flow rating (printed on the unit or its box) before ordering — the 400 and 700 share a cartridge, but the 1000 and 2000 do not.

Care and maintenance
Bioscape doesn't publish a fixed swap interval for this cartridge. As a general guide, check it monthly — once carbon stops adsorbing it no longer helps water clarity, though it isn't harmful left in place. Rinse the new cartridge in tank or dechlorinated water before fitting to clear carbon dust.

Will this fit my Velocity 1000?
No. The Velocity 1000 uses its own cartridge, sold separately — this pack is sized for the Velocity 2000 only.
