Bioscape CO2 Reactor Replace Seal Ring
Stops the cylinder-to-regulator join weeping gas. The Bioscape CO2 Reactor Replace Seal Ring is the seal that sits between the reaction cylinder and the pressure regulator on Bioscape's CO2 Generator system. Over time and repeated recharges this seal compresses and perishes, and the joint starts to hiss or lose pressure faster than it should – this part restores the seal.
Key features
- Restores the pressure seal – a worn or perished seal is a common reason a reagent-based reactor loses charge faster than the 60-day-plus runtime Bioscape rates it for.
- Cheap fix over a new reactor – the cylinder and regulator keep working; only the seal needs replacing.
- Shared design across both reactors – Bioscape's own manual documents the ARI10 and ARI11 reactors with an identical cylinder and regulator assembly, so this seal fits the joint on either model.

Which reactor does this fit?
Bioscape's own generator manual covers the ARI10 and ARI11 reactors together and documents them sharing the same reaction cylinder and regulator specifications, so this seal fits the cylinder-to-regulator join on either model. Bioscape has not published a separate spare-parts diagram confirming the part number independently of the manual.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
- Suitable for: the cylinder-to-regulator joint on the Bioscape ARI10 and ARI11 CO2 reactors.
- Not suitable for: other brands' CO2 reactors or pressurised cylinder systems – it's sized to Bioscape's own fitting.
Safety
Fit the seal before pressurising the cylinder. Bioscape's manual notes not to over-tighten the regulator and cylinder together when reassembling – over-tightening can damage the joint rather than sealing it better.
Care and maintenance
Check the joint for hissing or a faster-than-usual pressure drop as your first sign this seal needs replacing.
Warranty and delivery
Sold as a standard consumable replacement part; any fault on arrival is covered under your consumer guarantee rights under Australian Consumer Law. Ships as a small parcel.
Common questions
How do I know if this seal has failed?
The cylinder-to-regulator joint hisses, or the reactor's charge runs out well before the 60-day-plus runtime Bioscape rates it for at one bubble per second.
Does this fit both the ARI10 and the ARI11?
Yes – Bioscape's manual documents both reactors sharing the same cylinder and regulator assembly.
Do I need any tools to fit it?
No specific tooling has been published by Bioscape beyond hand-tightening the regulator and cylinder together – don't over-tighten.
