Suitable for freshwater and marine aquariums within the size range for each model. Hang-on filters need room behind the tank for the filter body, so check the clearance to the wall before buying.

Replace the carbon/wool cartridge when the indicator shows. Rinse the bio screen in old tank water rather than tap water so the beneficial bacteria survive.

Plug it into an RCD (safety switch) protected outlet with a drip loop in the cord, and never run it dry.
