The Bioscape Octopus Shipwreck is a hand-crafted, non-toxic resin ornament at 34 × 10 × 22 cm, combining a weathered wreck base with an octopus sculpture and several openings fish and shrimp can use as shelter.

Unlike the Bow and Stern, the Octopus Shipwreck isn't sold as one half of a pair — it's built and priced to stand on its own.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for freshwater and marine aquariums looking for a larger single centrepiece, medium to large tanks with room for a 22 cm tall feature, and setups wanting more of a display piece than a background hide. Not intended as a low foreground accent — its height suits mid-tank or background placement better than the front of an aquascape.
Care and maintenance
Rinse thoroughly under running water before adding it to the tank to clear manufacturing dust or loose resin particles. No soaking or curing is required — it's inert and won't affect pH or water chemistry.

Covered against manufacturing defects under Bioscape's warranty, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Common questions
Does it float or sink?
It sinks and sits in place on the substrate; no gluing or weighting down is needed for normal use.
Will it affect my water chemistry?
No — it's a non-toxic, inert resin that doesn't alter pH or hardness.
Is it reef safe?
Bioscape markets it as safe for both freshwater and marine setups, but as with any ornament in a sensitive reef system, rinse it well and introduce it gradually if you're being cautious.
Does it come with the Bow and Stern pieces?
No — this is a single, stand-alone ornament. The Old Shipwreck Bow and Old Shipwreck Stern are sold separately as their own two-piece set.
