Bioscape Standing Tree Monster 9.5 x 19cm
A mythical tree guardian ornament for a fantasy-styled aquascape. The Bioscape Standing Tree Monster is a hand-finished, non-toxic resin ornament styled as a standing tree figure with a face and root-like limbs, sized at approximately 9.5 × 19 cm to sit as a centrepiece or accent in a freshwater, marine or coldwater tank.
Key features
- Hand-finished resin – cast and hand-painted, so texture and colour vary slightly piece to piece.
- Built-in shelter areas – sculpted swimming and hiding spaces fish and shrimp can use, not a purely decorative solid shape.
- Freshwater, marine and coldwater safe – non-toxic resin suited to any water type.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for freshwater, marine and coldwater aquariums looking for a fantasy-styled centrepiece with built-in shelter areas. Not sold or finished as a reptile climbing or basking feature – it's an aquatic ornament.
Care and maintenance
Rinse thoroughly under running water before adding it to the tank to clear manufacturing dust or loose resin particles. Never use soap or detergent to clean it – both can leave a residue that's harmful to fish. No soaking or curing is required; it's inert and won't affect pH or water hardness.
Warranty and delivery
Covered against manufacturing defects under Bioscape's warranty, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Common questions
Will it affect my water chemistry?
No – it's a non-toxic, inert resin that doesn't alter pH or hardness.
Does it sink on its own?
Yes – being solid resin, it sits in place on the substrate without weighting or gluing needed for normal use.
Can I use it in a marine or reef tank?
Bioscape markets it as safe for freshwater, marine and coldwater setups. As with any ornament added to a sensitive reef system, rinse it well and introduce it gradually if you're being cautious.
Do I need to clean it before adding fish?
Yes – rinse it thoroughly under running water first, using no soap or detergent, to clear any manufacturing dust before it goes in the tank.
