Bioscape Tropic Aquariums Nest of 3 Round Front Corners 40cm 45cm 50cm

Three round-front corner tanks in one box, each sized differently so you're not stuck picking just one. The Bioscape Tropic Aquariums Nest of 3 bundles three curved-corner glass aquariums – 24 L, 37 L and 57 L – built from 4 mm rimless glass with a glass lid included on each. They're bare tanks: no light, filter, heater or stand is included with any of the three, so budget for those separately before setting one up.

Key features
  • Three tanks, three sizes – 24 L, 37 L and 57 L in one nest, so you can run all three or keep the spares for future setups, quarantine or breeding.
  • 4 mm rimless glass – a clean, frameless look on all three tanks.
  • Round front corners – curved glass at the front corners for an uninterrupted view compared with a square-cornered tank.
  • Glass lid included – each tank ships with its own glass lid and removable clips, ready for a light to sit on top.
  • Nests for storage – the three sizes are designed to sit inside one another when not in use, which is also how they ship as one bundle.
Specifications
Tank External dimensions (L x D x H) Capacity Glass Lid
Small 40 x 24 x 25 cm 24 L 4 mm rimless glass, round front corners Glass lid, removable clips
Medium 45 x 28 x 30 cm 37 L 4 mm rimless glass, round front corners Glass lid, removable clips
Large 50 x 33 x 35 cm 57 L 4 mm rimless glass, round front corners Glass lid, removable clips

Internal dimensions are not published by Bioscape for this range – expect a few millimetres less than the external figures above once the glass thickness is accounted for.

What's included / not included

Each of the three tanks includes a glass lid with removable clips. None of the three includes a light, filter, heater or stand – this is a bare-tank bundle, and all three tanks need that equipment added before they can be stocked. Don't assume any of the three is a ready-to-run kit.

Will it fit my space?

The 24 L small tank suits a desktop or shelf betta or shrimp setup. The 37 L medium tank is a step up for a small community of nano fish or a planted nano-scape. The 57 L large tank is the one to stock more seriously – still compact at 50 x 33 x 35 cm, but with enough volume for a proper small community. Measure your available footprint against the external dimensions above, not the litre figure alone, since the round front corners add a little depth at the front compared with a square-cornered tank of the same stated size.

Suitable for, and not suitable for

Suitable as bare display or grow-out tanks for freshwater or marine nano setups, quarantine, breeding, or as a starter tank once fitted with a filter, heater and light. Not suitable to stock as-is – none of the three includes the equipment a fish needs to live in it, and the smallest two are not appropriate for anything beyond nano or shrimp-scale livestock given their volume.

Care and maintenance

Rinse each tank before use to clear glass dust from manufacturing. Rimless glass shows edge chips more readily than framed glass – support each tank on a flat, level surface across its full base, never on a rim or a surface with a raised edge, to avoid stress-cracking the glass.

Safety

Glass aquariums must sit on a level, adequately rated surface – a filled 57 L tank weighs well over 50 kg once water, substrate and decor are added, so check the stand or furniture underneath is rated for that before filling. Bioscape does not publish filled weights for this range, so treat any weight figure as an order-of-magnitude guide rather than an exact spec.

Goes well with
  • A nano or hang-on filter sized to each tank – none of the three includes filtration.
  • A heater sized to the tank you're stocking – see our Bioscape aquarium heater range for wattage-to-volume guidance.
  • A clip-on or lid-mounted light – the included glass lids are designed to take one.
  • A stand rated for the filled weight – required for the 57 L tank especially.
Warranty and delivery

Covered by Bioscape's manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Glass tanks ship as a bundled parcel – inspect all three for transit damage before disposing of the packaging.

Common questions

Do the three tanks come with lights or filters?

No – each tank includes only a glass lid. Light, filter, heater and stand are all sold separately for every size in this bundle.

Can I buy just the 57 L tank on its own?

This listing is the three-tank nest as a bundle. Check our Bioscape tanks range if you're after a single size rather than all three.

What's the glass thickness?

All three tanks use 4 mm glass.

Is the smallest tank big enough for fish, or just shrimp?

At 24 L it will comfortably run a shrimp or small betta setup; it's on the small side for a fish community, which is better suited to the 37 L or 57 L tank in the nest.
