Suitable for the Tropic 800 in freshwater, planted and marine tanks. Not the first thing to try for weak flow alone; clean the impeller and hoses first.

Unplug the filter and close both hose valves before opening the head, run it from an RCD (safety switch) protected outlet, and never run the pump dry.
