Eco Tech Hanging Ficus w/Vine 60cm
Dense leaf cover that never needs a trim. The Eco Tech Hanging Ficus Vine (60 cm) recreates the layered leaf look of a ficus tree, giving nervous reptiles and amphibians somewhere to retreat to – without the light, humidity or pruning a real ficus demands.
Key features
- 60 cm trailing vine – drapes from a canopy anchor or upper mounting point down through the enclosure.
- Dense ficus-style leaf clusters – gives more visual coverage per centimetre of stem than a sparse vine.
- Bendable stem – shape it around branches, background texture or mesh to match your layout.
- Heat and UVB stable – holds its colour and shape under basking lamps and UVB tubes.
- Rinses clean in seconds – part of a routine enclosure clean, not a separate task.

Will it fit my enclosure?
Check your enclosure's internal height before ordering. Because the ficus clusters are denser than a plain vine, 60 cm of this style reads as fuller cover in a mid-height enclosure than the same length of a sparser vine. If your enclosure is shorter, run it horizontally along a shelf or branch rather than top to bottom.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for terrariums and vivariums housing arboreal or semi-arboreal species – tree frogs, day geckos, smaller pythons – that use dense canopy cover, as well as ground-dwelling species that shelter against a background.
Not suitable for enclosures housing species prone to chewing decor, due to the ingestion and impaction risk of artificial foliage. Not intended for permanent submersion.

Common questions
How is this different to the Abutilon vine in the same range?
The Ficus style has denser, more clustered leaves for a fuller look, while the Abutilon vine has a more open, trailing leaf pattern – pick whichever suits the density of cover you want.
Can I use more than one to fill a large enclosure?
Yes. Several vines can be mounted at different points and heights to build up layered cover across a larger terrarium.
Will it hold its shape over time?
The wired stem keeps the shape you set it in and doesn't sag the way real foliage does as it grows.
Can I use it near water?
It's designed as a terrarium and vivarium decoration; if using it near water, mount it above the waterline rather than submerging it.
