The Exo Terra Day & Night LED is a two-mode fixture built for terrariums that already have their heat and UVB sorted separately: 14 white LEDs for a daylight look, and a single blue LED for low-disturbance night viewing. It mounts straight onto the glass with an included adhesive base.

Exo Terra's own product page and instruction manuals do not publish a wattage, voltage, lumen output, IP rating or fixture dimensions for this model. We haven't stated figures for these here rather than estimate them — check the marking on the unit or its packaging for the electrical rating before installing near an AU power outlet.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suited to terrariums that already have dedicated heating and, where the species needs it, a separate UVB fixture — this unit adds daylight ambience and low-disturbance night viewing on top of that setup. Not suitable as a sole light source for species with a UVB requirement, and not a basking or heat source of any kind.

For indoor use only. Keep the light unit housing away from water spray, splashing or high humidity. Not rated by Exo Terra for sub-freezing temperatures. Confirm the voltage and wattage marked on the unit or box before connecting to AU power, as Exo Terra does not publish these figures online.

Common questions
Does this replace my UVB lamp?
No — Exo Terra markets this as a no-UVB fixture. Keep a separate UVB lamp running for any species that needs one.
Will this heat my terrarium or disrupt a night-time temperature drop?
No. Exo Terra states it produces almost no heat, by design, so it can run overnight without fighting a natural temperature drop.
How do I switch between day and night mode?
A single touch-button on the fixture toggles between the 14 white LEDs (day) and the single blue LED (night).
How does it mount to my terrarium?
It uses an included self-adhesive support base that sticks to the glass — no drilling or clip-on hardware. A replacement base is sold separately if the original loses its grip.
