Suitable for bioactive, planted, paludarium and aquatic turtle terrariums 38 to 60 cm wide. It sits above the screen mesh so light and UV reach the animals; glass blocks UVB, so do not mount it over a glass lid. To fit it inside a terrarium instead, use the TerraSky Mounting Clips, sold separately. It is a light, not a heat source, so basking species still need a heat lamp.

UVB output fades with age even while the LEDs still light up. Exo Terra recommends starting to check the UVB output after 2 years of use.

Position the fixture so there is always glass between you and the light, and do not look directly into the LEDs. Unplug before installing or cleaning. Arrange the cord so it cannot be tripped over or pulled. IP54 means splash resistant, not submersible.
