A lost or dead remote shouldn't mean losing control of your CHI II's lighting. This is the genuine handheld remote control for the Fluval CHI II 25 litre (6.6 US gallon) aquarium kit, model 10508 – the larger of the two CHI II sizes, identifiable by its electronic light control panel.

This remote is specific to the 25 litre (6.6 US gallon) Fluval CHI II, model 10508 – check the model number on the base of your unit before ordering. The 5 US gallon (19 L) Fluval CHI and CHI II, model 10505, control lighting with a physical lever on the filter cube and cannot use this remote.
