Fluval FX4/FX5/FX6 Giant Media Basket
Built for the FX4 and FX6 media stack — not the FX5. This is the genuine Fluval A20239 media basket, the full-size tray that stacks inside an FX4 or FX6 canister to hold foam, carbon and biological media. Fluval does not publish this basket against the FX5, and no major parts distributor lists it as an FX5 fit. Check the model code on your motor head before ordering.

Worth stating plainly: most FX4/FX5/FX6 spares fit all three, this one doesn't. The FX5 runs a different internal media arrangement. If unsure which canister you own, the model code (A214 FX4, A218 FX5, A219 FX6) is on the label under the motor head.

No. Fluval does not list the A20239 basket against the FX5, and it doesn't appear in Fluval's FX5 parts range.
