Fluval Premium Betta Kit 20ltr replacement cartridge (4)

Genuine replacement media for the Fluval Premium Betta Kit 20 L. This four-pack of carbon-impregnated poly-carb cartridges restores mechanical and chemical filtration in the 20 L Betta Kit once the original media is exhausted.

Key features
  • Carbon-impregnated polyester cartridge – traps debris mechanically while the carbon pulls dissolved impurities and odours from the water.
  • Genuine fit – made for the Fluval Premium Betta Kit 20 L filtration chamber, no trimming needed.
  • Four-pack – enough for roughly two to four months of scheduled changes.
Fits

Fluval Premium Betta Kit, 20 L (Fluval item FBK02) only. It does not fit the 10 L Betta Kit, which uses a different filter chamber.

Care and maintenance

Fluval recommends replacing the cartridge roughly every 2–4 weeks, sooner if flow visibly drops or the water starts to yellow – both signs the carbon is exhausted and the pad is clogging.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
  • Suitable as a genuine replacement for the Fluval Premium Betta Kit 20 L.
  • Not suitable for the 10 L Betta Kit or any other Fluval filter – check your kit size before ordering.
Common questions

Does this fit the 10 L Betta Kit?

No – it's sized for the 20 L kit's filter chamber only.

How often should I replace it?

Roughly every 2–4 weeks, or sooner if flow drops noticeably.

Can I rinse and reuse a cartridge?

Rinsing extends a cartridge's mechanical life slightly, but the carbon component is single-use – once its odour and impurity removal is exhausted it won't recharge by rinsing.
