Red Sea Max Nano G2 Peninsula (45x58.5x45cm) - 100L
The same MAX Nano engineering, stretched into a three-sided view. The Red Sea MAX Nano G2 Peninsula is an all-glass reef aquarium with its lighting, circulation, skimming and auto top-off already fitted into a built-in rear sump chamber, in a wider format designed to be viewed from three sides rather than tucked against a wall. This listing is the aquarium and its equipment; the matching cabinet and a heater are sold separately.
Key features
- Peninsula format – a 58.5 cm span designed to be viewed from the front and both ends, suited to a room divider or island placement rather than a wall-backed setup.
- Built-in rear sump chamber – filtration, skimmer, pump and auto top-off run out of sight behind the display.
- Rimless 8 mm ultra-clear glass – high-clarity panels with no frame breaking up the view from any side.
- ReefLED 50 lighting included – a WiFi-controlled, full-spectrum LED fixture run from the ReefBeat app.
- Sicce 950 L/h return pump, skimmer and auto top-off already plumbed in – arrives wired and ready rather than bought as separate parts.

Which MAX Nano do I need?
This is the Peninsula G2 – 25 L more total system water than the Cube G2 in a wider, three-sided display. If a square footprint against a wall suits your space better, the Cube G2 is the more compact option. If you want meaningfully more water and stronger flow, the XL G2 steps up to 125 L and a 1,550 L/h pump.

Performance
Red Sea rates the included ReefLED 50 at roughly 500 µmol beneath the lens at the water surface, falling to around 100 µmol at 50 cm depth – comfortable intensity across the peninsula's shallow water column, including SPS coral placed high in the aquascape. The Sicce return pump is rated at 950 L/h before head loss through the rear chamber's own plumbing; expect a lower figure at the outlet once the circuit is accounted for.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for an island or room-divider placement where the aquarium is seen from more than one side, or anyone who wants more display water than the Cube G2 without the equipment overhead of a full sump build. Not suitable pushed hard against a wall – you lose the point of the peninsula format, and a standard rectangular tank would suit that placement better.
Warranty and delivery
Covered by Red Sea's manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Mains-powered components are configured for 240 V / 50 Hz Australian supply. Ships as a boxed aquarium and equipment set.
Common questions
Does this listing come with a cabinet?
No – this is the aquarium and its equipment only. Red Sea's matching Peninsula cabinet is sold separately, and as a cabinet-and-aquarium bundle on other listings.
Can it be placed against a wall?
Yes, but the peninsula format is designed for viewing from the front and both ends – placed flush against a wall you lose one of those views and a standard rectangular aquarium of similar volume would suit the space just as well.
Does it come with a heater?
No. Choose one rated for a system under 130 L, sized to how cold your room gets.
What's already plumbed in?
The return pump, protein skimmer and auto top-off all sit in the rear sump chamber, arriving already plumbed and wired.
How is this different from the Cube G2?
Same rear-chamber engineering and the same ReefLED 50 and Sicce pump, in a wider 58.5 cm span holding 25 L more total system water and offering a three-sided view rather than the Cube's square, wall-backed footprint.
