Red Sea Reefer Max Peninsula 350 G2+
A reef viewed from three sides, with the lighting, flow and skimming already fitted. The Red Sea REEFER MAX Peninsula 350 G2+ is the top-tier configuration of Red Sea's Peninsula 350: a 96 x 63.5 x 60 cm display designed to be viewed from the front and both ends, on a matching cabinet, with ReefLED lighting, ReefWave circulation, a ReefRun return pump, protein skimmer, filter roller and auto top-off already plumbed in. It suits reefers with a room divider, island bench or open-plan layout where a standard back-against-the-wall tank isn't the right shape.
Key features
- 352 L total system volume across a 278 L display and 75 L sump — small enough for an island or divider position, deep enough to run a proper reef bioload.
- Twin ReefLED G2 115 pendant lighting — mounted on pendant trays rather than arms, keeping the open top clear for a three-sided view.
- Twin ReefWave 45 gyre pumps — flow tuned for a shorter, wider footprint than a standard rectangular Reefer.
- ReefRun G2 DC return pump — variable speed, app-controlled.
- REEFER DC Skimmer 600 and ReefMat 500 — sized to the smaller sump rather than a scaled-down version of the 750's equipment.
- ReefATO+ auto top-off — matters more on a peninsula footprint, where evaporation is proportionally higher for the water volume than on a same-volume standard tank.

Will it fit my space?
Because a peninsula tank is meant to be walked around, check clearance on both open ends as well as the front — the pendant lighting also needs headroom above the display rather than a wall-mounted arm's reach. At 352 L total volume the water alone weighs roughly 352 kg before cabinet, glass, rock and sand are added. That's within what most suspended timber floors can take spread over a cabinet footprint, but it's still worth checking against your specific flooring if it's sitting on anything other than a slab or well-supported joists — Red Sea doesn't publish a filled weight for this model.
Performance
The ReefWave 45 pumps deliver up to 3,960 GPH (roughly 15,000 L/h) combined at the pump face; real in-tank flow depends on placement, as on any gyre pump. Red Sea has not published a head-loss curve for the ReefRun G2 DC pump fitted to this package — the flow figure on the box is measured at zero head, and actual delivery through the drain plumbing and skimmer will be lower. We can request the manufacturer's curve sheet if you need the delivered figure for stocking or turnover planning.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suited to a reef in an open-plan room, on an island bench, or as a room divider, where a three-sided view matters more than maximum display length. Not suited to a corner or wall placement where the extra depth (63.5 cm front to back) isn't needed — a standard rectangular Reefer of similar volume will generally cost less and use less floor footprint in that setting.
Care and maintenance
ReefMat roll changes replace weekly filter sock washing; skimmer cup emptying and gyre pump cleaning remain routine. The smaller sump means less buffer if maintenance is missed for an extended period, so keep to a regular schedule.
Safety
Run all included equipment through an RCD-protected circuit with drip loops on every cable. Check the drain valve setting after any plumbing disturbance to avoid overflow noise or a sump overflow.
Warranty and delivery
Covered by Red Sea's manufacturer warranty, additional to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Ships as an oversized item on a pallet — confirm doorway and stair clearance, and expect a two-person delivery.
Common questions
What's the difference between this and the standard Peninsula 350 G2+?
The standard Peninsula 350 G2+ is the aquarium, cabinet and plumbed sump only. The MAX adds lighting, return pump, gyre circulation, skimmer, filter roller and auto top-off, fitted and ready to run.
Can it sit against a wall instead of as a divider?
Yes, though you lose the point of the three-sided viewing panels. A standard Reefer of similar volume is usually the better-value choice for a wall placement.
Do I need a separate heater?
Yes — heating isn't included in any Peninsula 350 package tier.
Is a dosing system included?
No, a dosing pump system for two-part or trace elements is sold separately.
