The Red Sea Tank Net Screen Cut-Out Tool makes a neat, finished 15–40 mm opening in a Red Sea Tank Net Screen – for a filter intake, heater cable, plumbing or probe to pass through – so the edge stays taut and sealed instead of unravelling around a knife-cut hole.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for: owners of a Red Sea Tank Net Screen who need a second or third equipment pass-through, or who are adding new gear (a probe, a doser line, an extra heater) after the original screen was fitted.
Not suitable for: openings wider than 40 mm – large plumbing runs or bulkier equipment will need a bigger custom opening, which this tool isn't sized for. It's an accessory for an existing Red Sea net screen, not a standalone product.
Care and maintenance
Rinse salt creep from the cut-out edge along with the rest of the frame during routine cleaning – a crusted edge is what eventually lets the mesh fray at the opening.
