This is the genuine replacement quartz sleeve for the Aqua Ultraviolet Twist UV steriliser in both the 25 W and 57 W versions. It sits between the UV-C lamp and the water flow, letting UV-C pass through to the water while keeping the lamp itself dry and protected.

Care and maintenance
When should I replace the sleeve rather than just clean it?
Wipe the sleeve down each time you change the lamp. Replace it outright if it's visibly scratched, chipped, or permanently hazed with limescale that won't wipe off – all three block UV-C output even with a fresh lamp fitted.
How do I clean it in the meantime?
Wipe with a soft cloth; a mild vinegar soak lifts mineral scale without scratching the quartz. Avoid abrasive pads, which score the surface and reduce UV-C transmission permanently.
