Suitable as daytime basking and background heat for reptiles such as bearded dragons, tortoises and monitors, used with a separate UVB lamp. Not a UVB source, and not for household lighting. For a tight, hot basking spot choose the Solar Basking Spotlight instead.

Run it on a thermostat and fit a lamp guard. Do not look directly at the lamp when lit. Switch it off and let it cool before handling.
