Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for BIS30 and BIS31 only. Not suitable for the 1800 lph (BIS32), 2200 lph (BIS33) or 2200 lph UV 9W (BIS34) models — those use the larger QHU18e head and take the QHU18e seal ring instead. Fitting the wrong ring will not seal properly and can leak.

Symptom this fixes: a slow weep or drip where the filter head meets the canister body, usually noticed as a damp patch under the unit. Depressurise and disconnect the filter, separate the head from the canister, lift out the old ring, seat the new one in the same groove, and reassemble. No tools required.
