The exact carbon and phosphate refill for a Velocity 1500 filter. This two-pack replaces the carbon and phosphate media inside a Bioscape Velocity 1500 internal filter (BIS163), the internal filter rated for aquariums up to 150 L. Each pack holds two carbon cartridges and two phosphate cartridges — a full media change — restoring the filter's ability to strip chlorine, tannins, phenols and phosphate as the original media exhausts.

Care and maintenance
Bioscape doesn't publish a fixed replacement interval for this cartridge pack specifically. Its published guidance for the equivalent carbon media in the Bioscape Carbon Extraction Pad is to replace roughly every 4 weeks — once carbon is exhausted it stops adsorbing and just sits there as inert mechanical media. Use that as a starting point, and replace sooner if flow through the filter drops noticeably or the water starts to yellow or smell again between changes.
