Bioscape Deluxe Aquarium Glass Cover 40 x 20 x 28cm 22ltr

• Matched by part number – Bioscape's SKU pairing (BIS221 tank, BIS221A cover) is the same pattern used across the Deluxe range, so this cover is built to the 22L starter kit's rim rather than sold as a generic universal fit.
• Slows evaporation – a covered tank needs fewer top-ups, and fewer top-ups means less swing in mineral concentration between water changes.
• Keeps fish in, dust and pets out – closes the open top so fish can't jump clear and nothing falls or climbs in.
• Glass, not thin plastic – won't cloud, yellow or warp under lighting heat the way a plastic lid can over time.

This cover is identified from Bioscape's own part numbering as the match for the 22L Deluxe Starter Kit (BIS221) tank. Bioscape hasn't published a separate fitment list confirming it against other 40 x 20 x 28cm tanks from other brands, so if you're covering something other than the Bioscape 22L kit, check your tank's rim opening against the 40 x 20cm cover footprint before ordering.

• Suitable for: the Bioscape Deluxe Aquarium Starter Kit 22L (BIS221).
• Not suitable for: tanks with a different rim size – check dimensions first. It's a cover, not a structural or load-bearing lid.

Bioscape Deluxe Aquarium Starter Kit 22L – this cover is sized for it and isn't bundled in the kit's own box.

Covered by your consumer guarantee rights under Australian Consumer Law if it arrives damaged or faulty. It's glass – ships boxed, and we recommend checking it for chips or cracks on arrival before fitting it to the tank.

Does this come with the 22L starter kit, or is it sold separately?

It's sold separately. The Deluxe Aquarium Starter Kit 22L doesn't include a glass cover in the box, so this is how you add one.

Will it fit a 22 litre tank from a different brand?

Only if the rim opening matches. This cover is sized to the Bioscape 22L kit specifically – measure your tank's opening against 40 x 20cm before buying if it's not a Bioscape tank.

Is it glass or plastic?

Glass.
