Bioscape LED Landscape Dual Bamboo Base 9w x 2
Two 9W bamboo-based grow lights on one shared footprint, angled independently. The Dual Bamboo Base pairs two of Bioscape's 6500K LED landscape lights on a single 60 x 40cm bamboo base, so a wider aquascape, terrarium or desk planting gets even coverage from two adjustable heads instead of one.
Why you need one
A single Landscape Bamboo light covers a modest footprint well, but wider tanks and multi-plant terrarium setups end up with a dim gap at the far end when lit from one point. Running two heads from one base spreads the light across the full width without buying and plugging in two separate lamps.
Key features
- Two independent 9W heads — 18W combined, each on its own flexible gooseneck so the two beams can be aimed at different parts of the layout.
- 6500K daylight-white LEDs — the same colour temperature as Bioscape's single Landscape Bamboo light, suited to plant growth and natural-looking viewing rather than a blue or warm tint.
- One shared base, one footprint — a 60 x 40cm base takes up one spot on the cabinet or desk rather than two.
- 40cm support stem — lifts both heads clear of the water line or terrarium canopy for adjustment room.
- Natural bamboo construction — sits as a piece of furniture next to the tank rather than a clip-on aquarium fixture.

Will it fit my tank?
Because both heads sit on an external bamboo base rather than clamping to the tank rim, fit is about desk or cabinet-top space rather than glass thickness — allow a clear 60 x 40cm footprint beside or behind the aquarium, with room for the 40cm stems to stand upright.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for planted aquariums, aquascapes, terrariums and desk plant displays where one wide light source is more practical than two separate lamps. Not suitable as a submersible or clip-on in-tank light — both heads sit above and beside the water, not in it.
Care and maintenance
Wipe the bamboo base dry if it's splashed — bamboo isn't a submersible material and prolonged wet contact will mark it. If one head stops working while the other stays lit, the fault is almost always in that head's own transformer rather than the shared base; Bioscape's single BIS11 transformer is the closest equivalent spare part, though cross-compatibility with this dual unit isn't confirmed by the manufacturer.
Warranty and delivery
Covered against manufacturing defects under Bioscape's warranty, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Common questions
Can I angle the two heads separately?
Yes — each head has its own flexible gooseneck, so they can point at different areas of the layout rather than both aiming the same direction.
Is this the same light as the single Landscape Bamboo 9w, just doubled?
Yes — each head matches the single Bioscape Landscape Bamboo 9w (6500K, 9W), mounted in pairs on a wider shared base rather than sold as two separate lamps.
Does Bioscape publish a PAR reading for this light?
No — Bioscape markets this as a landscape and grow light rather than a PAR-rated planted-tank fixture, and doesn't publish a PAR-at-depth chart for it. For a dedicated high-light planted tank, a PAR-rated fixture from Bioscape's aquarium lighting range is the better-documented choice.
Will this work over a terrarium as well as an aquarium?
Yes — Bioscape markets the single-head version for aquariums, aquascapes, terrariums and general plant-growing use, and the dual-head base follows the same application.
