Bioscape LED Light BIS136
The largest light and lid unit in the Bioscape Tropic Nano range, built for the 61L aquarium. Order this genuine replacement part if the integrated LED on your 61L Tropic Nano kit (aquarium model BIS136) has failed or been damaged – it swaps in without needing a new tank.
Key features
- Sized to the 61L Tropic Nano's footprint – matches the external footprint of the Bioscape Tropic Nano 61L aquarium (58 x 49cm), the largest of the three Tropic Nano sizes.
- Genuine Bioscape part – the same unit supplied with new 61L Tropic Nano kits.
- Covers the biggest tank in the range – if your Tropic Nano is the largest of the three sizes Bioscape sells, this is the light unit that fits it; the 24L and 40L use smaller, differently sized units.

Common questions
Is the 61L light unit interchangeable with the 40L?
No – the 61L unit is built to a larger footprint (58 x 49cm versus 48 x 44cm for the 40L) and won't seat correctly on the smaller tank.
Does this include a new transformer?
Bioscape doesn't specify this separately for the light unit – check your existing transformer for damage before ordering, and contact Bioscape if you need this confirmed.
My 61L tank's light is dim but still turns on – is this the fix?
If the LEDs themselves have visibly dimmed or discoloured with age rather than failed to power on at all, that points to the light unit rather than the transformer, so yes – this is the right part to check first.
