Bioscape Magnetic Aquarium glass Cleaner large
Clean the inside of the glass without getting your hands wet. The Bioscape Magnetic Aquarium Glass Cleaner (Large) pairs an outer magnetic handle with an inner pad, so wiping algae off the glass from outside the tank moves the pad across the inside – no arm in the water, no wet sleeve. It's the largest of Bioscape's three sizes, built for bigger tanks where a smaller cleaner means more passes.

Which size do I need?
Bioscape sells this cleaner in Small, Medium and Large. Large suits bigger tanks, where a smaller pad means covering the same area in more passes. If you're not sure which to choose, going a size up rather than down means less time spent wiping.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for glass aquariums, fresh or marine. Not suitable for acrylic tanks – the magnet and pad can scratch acrylic; use an acrylic-safe cleaning pad instead. Not suitable for glass with a crack or chip, or where equipment sits in the cleaning path, since the pad can catch on it.
Care and maintenance
Lift the inner pad clear of gravel, decor or the substrate line before sliding it past, rather than dragging it through – grit trapped between the pad and the glass is what causes scratching, not the pad itself. Rinse the pad if it picks up heavy algae buildup.

Common questions
Does this work on acrylic tanks?
No. Magnetic cleaners like this one are designed for glass and can scratch acrylic – use an acrylic-safe cleaning pad on an acrylic tank instead.
Will it scratch my glass?
Not under normal use, but grit trapped between the pad and the glass will. Lift the pad clear of gravel or decor rather than pushing it through.
What's the difference between Small, Medium and Large?
Pad size. Large covers more glass in a single pass, which matters most on bigger tanks; Small and Medium suit nano and standard tanks where manoeuvring around aquascaping matters more than coverage.
What if the inner and outer magnets separate?
Slide the outer handle back over the approximate area of the inner pad and the magnetic pull will re-engage.
