Rinse thoroughly under running water before adding it to the tank to clear any manufacturing dust or loose resin particles. No soaking or curing is required — it's inert and won't affect pH or water chemistry.

Will it affect my water chemistry?

No — it's a non-toxic, inert resin that doesn't alter pH or hardness.

Does it float or sink?

It sinks and sits in place on the substrate; no gluing or weighting down is needed for normal use.

Is it big enough to use as a sole centrepiece?

Yes — at 26 cm long and 22 cm tall it's sized to anchor a display tank on its own, rather than needing extra hardscape around it.

Is it reef safe?

Bioscape markets it as safe for both freshwater and marine setups, but as with any ornament in a sensitive reef system, rinse it well and introduce it gradually if you're being cautious.
