Bioscape Sunken Ship XL 55 x 17 x 25cm
The Bioscape Sunken Ship XL is a large-scale resin ornament built as the centrepiece of a tank, not a background prop. At 55 x 17 x 25cm it is one of the bigger pieces in the Bioscape decor range, styled as a broken, weathered hull resting on its side. It works as a stand-alone feature or as the anchor point for a wider aquascape.

- Openings and gaps through the structure that fish can swim through and shelter in

Will it fit my tank?
At 55cm long and 25cm tall, this piece needs a reasonably large footprint and clear height above the substrate to sit properly. It is intended as a feature piece in mid-size to large tanks rather than a nano or small community setup.
Measure your tank's internal length, width and height before ordering and allow clearance for filter intakes, heaters and any other hardware. Bioscape has not published a minimum recommended tank size for this piece, so go by your own tank's internal dimensions rather than tank volume alone.
Suitable for / not suitable for
Suitable for freshwater and marine aquarium display, where it can be used as a centrepiece or backdrop feature. It is decor only, with no filtration, lighting or livestock function.
Not suitable as a load-bearing structure for rockwork or other decor, and not intended for use outside an aquarium setting.
What's included
This listing is for the Sunken Ship ornament only. Livestock, plants, substrate and any other decor shown in reference photos are not included.

Common questions
What is the Sunken Ship XL made from?
Resin. It is a moulded replica piece, not a natural material.
Will it affect my water chemistry?
Resin ornaments are inert and made for aquarium use. Rinse it under tap water before placing it in the tank to clear any dust from manufacturing and handling.
Can I use it in a marine tank as well as freshwater?
Yes, it is suitable for both freshwater and marine display aquariums.
Does it come with plants, gravel or other decorations?
No. This listing is for the ship ornament only, as described in the specifications above.
What tank size do I need?
Bioscape has not published a minimum tank size for this piece. Check the 55 x 17 x 25cm dimensions against your own tank's internal space, including height clearance, before ordering.
Is it safe for fish to swim through?
The hull has openings and gaps typical of this style of ornament, giving fish places to move through and hide. We have not been supplied exact opening sizes, so if you keep larger fish, check the piece in person where possible.
