At 60 cm tall with dual front doors and a mesh top, this terrarium suits species that use height and climbing surfaces over floor space. Before buying a heat or UVB bulb, check the minimum mounting distance printed on the bulb's packaging against this terrarium's internal height — glass terrariums lose a small amount of internal height to the glass and mesh top compared with the external measurement.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suited to arboreal and semi-arboreal reptiles and amphibians — crested geckos, day geckos, anoles and appropriately sized tree frog species. Not sized for large monitors, adult bearded dragons or other ground-dwelling species that need floor area over height.
Safety
The terrarium carries no mains electrics on its own. Once you fit a heat source, UVB bulb or any powered accessory, use a 240 V AU-approved fitting on a thermostat rated for its wattage, and route cabling through the closable ports rather than through a door gap.

Its 45 x 45 x 60 cm footprint and 60 cm height suit adult crested geckos, day geckos and similarly sized climbing species. Check your species' care sheet for minimum enclosure size.
Can I stand this terrarium on carpet or a normal shelf?
The base is waterproof and raised for a substrate heater, but as with any glass enclosure, use a stable, level surface rated for the combined weight once furnished and filled.
