Fitting
How do I fit it?
Unplug the filter and remove it from the enclosure, separate the filter case from the motor housing, lift out the old fine foam and fit the new pad in the same position, then reassemble before returning the filter to the water.
Care and maintenance
Exo Terra recommends replacing filter foam and carbon media roughly every 6–8 weeks to keep flow and filtration performance up. Rinse debris off in old tank water between full changes rather than under tap water, to protect the filter's bacterial colony.
