Safety
The extra 30 cm of height over the Small Tall gives more room to separate a basking lamp from the animal, but always mount any heat lamp, ceramic heat emitter or UVB lamp at the minimum safe distance stated on that product's own page, and run it through a thermostat.
Care and maintenance
The anodized frame won't rust, but wipe down mineral deposits from misting as part of routine cleaning. The tray lifts out through the swiveling bottom door for substrate changes. At 90 cm tall, plan for a stand or shelf that puts the front door at a workable height.

Same 45 × 45 cm base, but this X-Tall stands 90 cm against the Small Tall's 60 cm — extra vertical space for species that climb high rather than range across the floor.
Is the 45 × 45 cm base big enough for an adult chameleon?
For many single adult chameleons kept on branches and vines, yes — the height matters more than floor area for these species. If you want more floor space as well, the Medium X-Tall keeps the 90 cm height on a 60 × 45 cm base.
Can a UVB lamp's mounting distance fit in 90 cm?
Usually, yes — this is one of the taller enclosures in the range — but check the specific lamp's own gradient table for its stated minimum and maximum mounting distance before buying.
Does it come with a stand?
No. At 90 cm tall, most keepers use a stand, shelf or cabinet to bring the front door to a comfortable working height — this isn't included.
