Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for freshwater and marine 106/206 filters, including reef systems, as the impeller chamber is sealed from the motor's electronics.
Not suitable for the 105/205, 107/207, 306 or 406, or any filter outside the Fluval 06 series.
Care and maintenance
Rinse the impeller and shaft at each filter clean, checking the shaft ends for grooving. Replace yearly, or sooner if flow weakens or the motor hums, rattles or spins unevenly.
