A pre-cut filter pad that drops straight into the media basket, no cutting to size. These are genuine-fit ammonia remover pads for the Fluval 106/206 and 107/207 canister filters, sold as a pack of three ready-shaped inserts that combine mechanical straining with ammonia-absorbing chemical media in one layer.
Will it fit my filter?
These pads are shaped to the media basket used in the Fluval 106, 206, 107 and 207 canister filters - the same basket size across both the 06 and 07 series, which is why one pad fits all four models. They are not the correct size for the larger 306/406/307/407 filters or the FX range.

Suitable for the 106, 206, 107 and 207 canister filters, in freshwater or marine setups, including after treating fish with medication where extra ammonia control is useful. Not suitable for the 306/406/307/407 or FX-series filters, which take a larger pad.
Care and maintenance
Fluval doesn't publish a fixed swap-out interval for these pads, since how fast the media saturates depends on your ammonia load rather than a fixed volume of water. Keep an eye on your ammonia test kit and replace the pad once readings start climbing again, or as part of your regular filter media rotation.
