Fluval Filter Bracket for U2/U3
The genuine mounting bracket that holds a Fluval U2 or U3 internal filter flush against the aquarium glass. This is Fluval's Filter Bracket for the U2/U3 Underwater Filter, manufacturer part A15204, a direct replacement for a cracked, lost or brittle original bracket.

Will it fit my filter?
This bracket fits the Fluval U2 and Fluval U3 internal filters only – it is not interchangeable with the U1 or U4 brackets, which are sized differently for their smaller and larger filter bodies. Check the model printed on your filter's housing before ordering; if in doubt, send us a photo and we'll confirm fitment.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
- Suitable for: Fluval U2 and U3 owners whose original bracket has cracked, gone brittle with UV exposure, or been lost during maintenance.
- Not suitable for: the Fluval U1 or U4 – see our separate U4 Filter Bracket for that model.

Common questions
How do I know if I need this bracket or the U4 version?
Check the model name moulded into the filter body. This bracket fits the U2 and U3 only; the U4 uses a different, larger bracket sold separately.
Does the suction cup wear out and need separate replacement?
Suction cups do lose grip over time, especially with sustained UV exposure near bright lighting. This bracket is supplied complete with its mounting cup, so a full replacement resolves both issues at once.
Will this fit a second-hand or older Fluval U2/U3?
Fluval hasn't revised the U-series mounting point since launch, so this bracket fits current and older U2/U3 units alike.
Does it come with mounting screws or hardware?
No separate hardware is needed – the bracket's suction cup is the mounting method, and it clips directly onto the existing points on the filter body.
