The genuine magnetic impeller and cover for the Fluval G6. The impeller is the spinning part that pumps water through the filter. This is Fluval part A20262, the magnetic impeller assembly with its impeller cover, made for the G6 Advanced Filtration System only.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for the Fluval G6 only. The G3 takes a different impeller assembly (Fluval part A20260), so check the model on your filter before ordering.
Care
Unplug the filter first. Turn the filter head upside down, press on the tabs of the impeller cover and twist it anticlockwise until it releases, then lift it out. When reassembling, make sure the top rubber bushing and its thrust bearing are fitted correctly; Fluval notes the motor will not run without it.
