A 180-litre aquarium and cabinet matched as one system, not assembled from parts.
The Juwel Vision 180 LED is a complete freshwater tropical aquarium: a 180 L curved-front glass tank on a matching cabinet, with MultiLux LED lighting, a Bioflow M internal filter and a 200 W adjustable heater built in. It's sized for a standard living-room footprint rather than a feature wall.

Will it fit your space?
92 cm wide and 41 cm deep is close to a standard TV-unit footprint, so it fits most single-wall positions. Overall height with the cabinet is approximately 128 cm (55 cm tank + 73 cm cabinet) – check this against a window sill or shelf above before you commit to a spot.
Performance
Filtration
The Bioflow M runs on the Eccoflow 600 pump, rated 600 L/h at zero head. As with any internal filter, loaded flow with all four media stages in place will read lower than the rated figure; Juwel doesn't publish a loaded-flow or head-height curve for this unit.
Heating
Juwel's own AquaHeat Pro guide rates the 200 W unit for 100–200 L tanks. At 180 L this tank sits comfortably inside that range, so the integrated heater should hold a stable tropical temperature in a typical Australian living room without needing a backup unit.
Running costs and noise
Combined connected load across LED, pump and heater is approximately 244.5 W, with the heater cycling rather than drawing full power continuously. Running the LED on an 8-hour photoperiod and the pump continuously, and excluding the heater because its duty cycle depends on room temperature, works out to roughly 168 kWh a year – about $50 a year at 30c/kWh for lighting and circulation. Juwel does not publish a noise rating for the Eccoflow 600; expect a quiet hum typical of a small internal circulation pump.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suited to freshwater tropical community and planted setups. Not suitable for marine or reef use without significant modification – lighting spectrum and filtration are built for freshwater, not reef lighting or skimming.
Care and maintenance
Rinse the four filter media types in tank water at water changes rather than tap water. LED tubes are individually replaceable rather than sealed. Recheck the cabinet is level after the first few weeks of use as it settles under the filled tank's weight.
Safety
Filled weight comes to roughly 212.5 kg for tank and water (32.5 kg empty tank plus 180 kg of water), and around 242.5 kg including the empty cabinet, before substrate or decor. Juwel does not publish a maximum load rating for the Vision 180's SBX cabinet, so if you're placing it on an upper floor or an older structure, check with a builder rather than assume. This is mains-powered equipment: route heater, pump and LED transformer leads above water level with a drip loop, and run the circuit through a residual current device (safety switch).
Warranty and delivery
Sold with the manufacturer's standard warranty in addition to your consumer guarantee rights under Australian Consumer Law. Tank and cabinet ship as separate cartons; plan for two people to position the cabinet before fitting the tank.

Is the Juwel Vision 180 reef-safe?
No. It's equipped as a freshwater tropical system – lighting and filtration are matched to planted and community freshwater setups, not reef use.
Is the 200 W heater enough for 180 litres?
Yes – this sits comfortably inside Juwel's own published 100–200 L range for the 200 W AquaHeat Pro, so no backup heater is needed for typical Australian room temperatures.
What does it weigh once filled?
Roughly 242.5 kg for tank, water and cabinet combined, before substrate or decor. Juwel hasn't published a cabinet load rating for this model, so check your floor can carry that weight, particularly above ground level.
Can I replace the LED tubes myself?
