Red Sea Reefer Peninsula 350 g2+ black - 352L
A reef platform built to be seen from three sides, with the tank and cabinet done and the equipment left to you. The Red Sea REEFER Peninsula 350 G2+ pairs a 96 x 63.5 x 60 cm rimless, ultra-clear glass aquarium with a matching black marine-spec cabinet and Red Sea's own sump, plumbing and auto top-off – a 352 L peninsula foundation for reefers who want to choose their own lighting, return pump and skimmer rather than have Red Sea choose for them.
Key features
- 352 L total system volume – 278 L in the display over a 74.5 L sump, so there's real filtration and dosing capacity behind a tank that's still a manageable footprint.
- Rimless, low-iron front and side glass – 15 mm panels for a clear, undistorted view from the sides a peninsula position exposes.
- ReefATO+ auto top-off included – with a temperature monitor and an external leak detector built in, so evaporation top-up and an early flood warning come standard rather than as an add-on.
- Pre-glued sump and plumbing – the sump, overflow box and downpipe arrive plumbed and ready, not a bag of unglued PVC to solvent-weld on setup day.
- Surface skim overflow box – pulls the water's surface film into the sump on its way to the return, ahead of and separate from a protein skimmer.
- ReefMat-ready sump – the filtration compartment is sized to accept a ReefMat automatic filter roller if you add one later, without replumbing.
What's included
- REEFER Peninsula 350 G2+ display aquarium and matching black cabinet
- Sump with filtration compartment, pre-glued
- Overflow box with surface skimmer
- Return plumbing and silent downflow system
- ReefATO+ auto top-off, with temperature monitor and leak detector
Not included
- Return pump – sized separately to the head height of your final plumbing run
- Protein skimmer – sized to your bioload, sold separately
- Lighting
- ReefMat automatic filter roller – the sump accepts one, but it isn't fitted
- Heater, RO/DI unit, saltwater mix, live rock, sand, aquascape and livestock
This is the standard Peninsula 350 G2+, not the MAX version: it's the tank, cabinet, sump and auto top-off, with lighting, return pump and protein skimmer left for you to choose. If you'd rather have those fitted and matched from the factory, the Peninsula G3 MAX tier bundles them in – see the Red Sea Reefer Peninsula 500 G3 MAX for what that looks like one size up.

Will it fit my room?
Allow the full 160 cm system height plus ceiling clearance above that for lid removal, and keep at least 10 cm behind the cabinet for the ATO reservoir line, sump access and cabling. At 352 L, the water alone weighs roughly 352 kg before the glass, cabinet, rock and substrate are added – Red Sea doesn't publish a filled weight figure for this model, so on an upper floor or a bearer-and-joist subfloor, have the floor checked before it goes in rather than assuming it's fine.
Which one do I need?
| Model | Total volume | Lighting, pump, skimmer | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Peninsula 350 G2+ | 352 L | Not included – choose your own | Reefers who want to spec their own equipment on a mid-size peninsula |
| Peninsula 500 G2+ | 519 L | Not included – choose your own | Same approach, larger display and sump |
| Peninsula 500 G3 MAX | 519 L | Included and pre-plumbed | Reefers who want a complete, running system out of the box |
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suited to reefers who already know what lighting, return pump and skimmer they want, or who are upgrading gear from an existing tank and don't need it duplicated. Not the right choice if you want a single running system straight out of the box – for that, look at the G3 MAX tier, which arrives with lighting, flow, skimming and top-off already fitted.
Safety
The ReefATO+ is mains-powered – run it through an RCD-protected circuit with a drip loop on the cable. Whatever return pump you fit, check the overflow and downpipe valve settings after any plumbing work; an incorrectly set silent-siphon valve can cause overflow noise or, in a worst case, a sump overflow.
Warranty and delivery
Red Sea's standard manufacturer warranty on REEFER systems is 2 years, extending to 3 years at no cost when you register the tank within 90 days of purchase; a further paid extension to 5 years is available in some regions and we can confirm current Australian pricing at time of sale. This applies in addition to your consumer guarantee rights under Australian Consumer Law. This is an oversized item shipped on a pallet – expect a two-person kerbside or room-of-choice delivery depending on access, and confirm stair or doorway clearance before ordering.
Common questions
Does this come with lighting, a return pump or a skimmer?
No. The standard Peninsula 350 G2+ is the aquarium, cabinet, sump and ReefATO+ auto top-off only. Lighting, a return pump and a protein skimmer are sold separately and sized to how you plan to run the tank.
What's the difference between this and the Peninsula 500 G2+?
Size and volume. Both are the standard, unequipped tier – the 500 is a larger display and sump at 519 L against this model's 352 L, with the same approach of tank and plumbing included, equipment chosen separately.
Can I add a ReefMat filter roller later?
Yes. The sump's filtration compartment is sized for a ReefMat unit, so it can be added without replumbing the sump.
Is the floor under this tank a concern?
At 352 L, worth checking, particularly on an upper floor. The water alone is around 352 kg before cabinet, glass, rock and sand are added, and Red Sea doesn't publish a filled weight for this model.
Is this suitable as a first marine tank?
It can be, but budget for lighting, a return pump and a skimmer on top of the tank price, and plan your cycling and dosing routine around a 352 L volume before stocking.
