Red Sea Reefer Sump Pump Y Connector Set

Split one return line into two, the Red Sea factory way. This genuine Red Sea sump pump Y connector set takes a single return line from your Reefer sump pump and divides it into two outlets, spreading flow across a wider section of the display.

Key features
  • Genuine Red Sea part — moulded to the exact bore of Red Sea's own sump return plumbing, so it seats and seals without adapters.
  • Splits one return into two — spreads circulation across the display rather than concentrating it at a single outlet.
  • Direct-fit factory plumbing — no cutting, gluing or bore modification on the models it suits.

Will it fit my system?

This is the factory Y connector for the second-generation large Reefer range: Reefer G2 750, Reefer G2 900, Reefer-S 850 G2 and Reefer-S 1000 G2. It's sized to Red Sea's own sump return bore on these four models and won't seal against an unrelated pump or hose. If your Reefer is an earlier classic-series tank or a smaller model, check with us before ordering — Red Sea uses different return bore sizes across its ranges, and this part won't fit a Reefer Nano, 170 or 250.

Warranty and delivery

Covered by Red Sea's manufacturer warranty on parts, in addition to your consumer guarantee rights under Australian Consumer Law. A small plastic fitting — standard parcel delivery.

Common questions

Does this fit my Reefer 250 or Reefer 450?

No. This connector is sized for the large G2 range only — Reefer G2 750, 900, S850 and S1000. Smaller Reefer models use a different sump return bore.

Why would I split my return into two outlets?

A single strong jet can blast coral placed near the outlet and leave the rest of the display comparatively still. Splitting the flow into two more moderate streams spreads circulation more evenly.

Do I need any other parts to install it?

No — it's a direct-fit connector for the existing Red Sea sump return plumbing on the models it suits. It doesn't come with extension pipes or nozzles.
