Red Sea ReefLED 50 Electronic Board Bottom
Genuine replacement control board for the ReefLED 50. This is Red Sea's factory bottom (low) electronic board – part R35171 – for the ReefLED 50. It's the control-side circuit board, and the usual fix for a fixture with driving or connectivity faults rather than a dimmed or discoloured array.
Key features
- Genuine Red Sea part – factory bottom board matched to the ReefLED 50's driver and control system.
- Board-level repair – restores LED driving and control function without replacing the whole fixture.
- Far cheaper than a full unit swap – a board fault doesn't need to mean a whole new light.

Will it fit my light?
This board is specific to the ReefLED 50 and is the bottom (low) board rather than the top (high) board – the two are different parts and are not interchangeable. It does not fit the newer ReefLED G2 60.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for a ReefLED 50 with driving, control or WiFi connectivity faults – the light won't power on correctly, won't hold a programme, or won't connect to ReefBeat. Not the right part for a light that still runs and connects normally but has simply faded or shifted colour – that's an array symptom, not a board fault. Rule out the external power supply and DC cable first, since those fail more often than the board itself and cost less to replace.
Warranty and delivery
Covered by Red Sea's manufacturer warranty on the replacement part, in addition to your consumer guarantee rights under Australian Consumer Law. Ships as a small parcel item.
Common questions
How do I know if I need the bottom board rather than the array or top board?
Power, control or WiFi connectivity faults point to one of the two electronic boards; the bottom board is the more commonly replaced of the pair. Fading or colour shift with normal power and connectivity points to the array instead.
What's the difference between the top and bottom board?
They're separate control boards within the fixture – this listing is the bottom (low) board, part R35171. The top (high) board is a separate part and isn't interchangeable with this one.
Should I check anything before replacing the board?
Yes – check the external power supply and DC cable first. Both fail more often than the board itself and are cheaper to rule out before ordering a board.
Will this fit a ReefLED G2 60?
No. The G2 60 uses different control electronics – this board is specific to the original ReefLED 50.
