ReefControl ReefSense Port Expander
Takes a ReefControl Pro from four probes to seven. The Red Sea ReefSense 4-Port Expander adds extra, fully interchangeable ReefSense ports to a ReefControl Pro hub, so a growing reef or freshwater setup isn't capped at four probes and sensors. Any ReefSense probe – pH, temperature, salinity, ORP or the leak detector – works in any port, so there's no fixed layout to plan around.
Key features
- Takes ReefControl Pro from 4 to 7 total ReefSense ports – add probes as your monitoring needs grow, rather than buying a bigger hub.
- Universal ports – any ReefSense probe type plugs into any port on the expander, no dedicated slots.
- Genuine Red Sea ReefSense accessory – matched firmware and connector, no third-party adapters.

Fits
Compatible with the Red Sea ReefControl Pro only. Red Sea's own materials are explicit that it does not work with the entry-level ReefControl Lite, which has no expansion capability. Red Sea has not published the expander's own dimensions, connector type, cable length or power source on its Australian or global product pages at the time of writing – if you need those figures confirmed before ordering, ask us and we'll check with Red Sea directly.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for any ReefControl Pro owner who wants to run more than four ReefSense probes at once. Not suitable for, and not compatible with, ReefControl Lite.
Warranty and delivery
Covered by Red Sea's manufacturer warranty, in addition to your consumer guarantee rights under Australian Consumer Law. Ships as a small parcel item at standard rates.
Common questions
Will this work with ReefControl Lite?
No. Red Sea specifies the 4-Port Expander for ReefControl Pro only.
Can I choose which probes go in which port?
The ports are universal, so any ReefSense probe works in any port – there's no need to plan a specific layout.
How many probes can I run in total with the expander fitted?
Up to seven ReefSense probes and sensors across a ReefControl Pro with the expander connected.
