Common questions
How do I get it to glow?
Charge it under your terrarium's daytime light for several hours – the longer and brighter the charge, the stronger and longer the glow once the light goes off.
How long does the glow last?
Zoo Med doesn't publish a glow duration for this dish, so we can't state a figure – expect it to fade gradually over the first part of the night, as is typical for glow-in-the-dark plastics.
Is it the same size as the standard Rock Dish?
It's built on the same rock-dish mould as Zoo Med's standard Creatures Rock Dish, so the footprint and capacity match – Zoo Med just doesn't publish separate dimensions for the glow colourway.
Can I use it for water as well as food?
Yes – like the standard dish, it works for either food or water; use the removable liner to keep the two separate if you run both in the same enclosure.
