Zoo Med Hanging Mealworm Feeder
Mealworms where your pet can catch them – not under the substrate. The Zoo Med Hanging Mealworm Feeder mounts on the terrarium wall and holds mealworms in a smooth cup they can't climb out of, letting them fall through holes in the cup a few at a time so your reptile hunts for them instead of burrowing them out of the bedding. No more feeders disappearing into the substrate before your animal finds them, and no more uneaten worms turning up as beetles weeks later.
Key features
- Hangs at feeding height – suction-mounts to smooth terrarium glass so the cup sits where your reptile naturally feeds.
- Clear plastic cup – smooth interior keeps mealworms contained until they fall through the feed holes.
- Controlled feeding – worms fall a few at a time, keeping feeders visible and triggering natural hunting interest instead of a pile in a dish.
- Lets you track intake – see exactly how much each animal eats rather than guessing from what's left in the substrate.
- Easy to clean – smooth surfaces rinse out fully between fills.

Common questions
Will mealworms escape before my reptile eats them?
The cup's smooth interior is designed to stop mealworms climbing out, so they stay put until they fall through the feed holes.
What size feeder insects work in it?
Mealworms are the intended size. Larger insects such as full-grown superworms may not pass through the feed holes as designed.
Does the suction cup work on all enclosures?
It needs a smooth, clean glass or acrylic surface to grip. It won't hold on mesh, wood or textured backgrounds.
How do I clean it?
Rinse with warm water after use. The smooth plastic construction is built for simple, thorough cleaning.
