Suitable for terrariums that need UVB to reach further than about 30 cm, including setups where the tube sits above a screen top. It is only a tube and will not work without a T8 fluorescent fixture made for an 18 inch, 15 W lamp. It is not a T5 HO (high output) tube and will not fit a T5 HO fixture. The lamp contains mercury. Handle the glass tube with care, switch off and let it cool before removing it, and take spent or broken tubes to a council or lamp recycling drop off rather than household rubbish.
