Suitable for / not suitable for
Designed for reptile and amphibian terrariums and paludariums, this fern works well as background planting, climbing cover or a hide feature. It is not intended for fully submerged aquarium use, and the manufacturer does not state it is suitable for enclosures housing animals that chew or ingest decor materials.
What's included
One Zoo Med Sword Fern artificial plant with an integrated root stake. No mounting hardware, suction cups or display stand is included.
Care and maintenance
Rinse with warm water to remove dust and substrate build-up, and the plastic construction allows the plant to be disinfected between enclosure clean-outs. The root stake can be trimmed if a shorter length is needed for smaller enclosures.
Goes well with

Yes, the root stake can be cut down if you need it to sit lower in the substrate.
