Bioscape All in One Pond Filter Foam Media Set 2 Pack

The mechanical stage of your All in One pond filter, in one pack. This is the genuine coarse and fine sponge set for the Bioscape All in One Submersible Pond Filter, fitting both the standard model (BIS670) and the UV-equipped model (BIS671) — the two units share the same filter housing and media.

Key features
  • Two-stage set — one coarse sponge for leaf litter and larger debris, one fine sponge for the suspended solids that keep pond water hazy.
  • Direct fit — genuine replacement sized for the All in One filter housing, no trimming needed.
  • Rinseable, not disposable — wash in pond water and reuse; replace only once the foam starts breaking apart.
Which model does this fit?
Model Fits
Bioscape All in One Submersible Pond Filter 2000LPH (BIS670) Yes
Bioscape All in One Submersible Pond Filter with UV 2000LPH (BIS671) Yes

Both units use the same coarse-sponge-then-fine-sponge mechanical stage ahead of the ceramic biological media, so one media set covers either model.

Care and maintenance

Rinse in a bucket of pond water, never under a chlorinated tap — tap water kills the bacteria colonising the ceramic media downstream. Rinse when flow visibly drops, typically every two to four weeks in a stocked pond and less often over winter. Replace the set once the foam is torn, permanently compressed, or no longer springs back after a squeeze — Bioscape does not publish a fixed replacement interval, since wear depends on pond debris load.

Suitable for, and not suitable for

Suitable for the Bioscape All in One Submersible Pond Filter, BIS670 and BIS671. Not a fit for Bioscape's canister or hang-on aquarium filters, which use different media formats.

Warranty and delivery

Covered by consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law. Ships as a standard parcel.

Common questions

Does this fit the UV model as well as the standard model?

Yes. BIS670 and BIS671 use the same filter housing and the same coarse and fine sponge set — the UV-C clarifier in BIS671 is a separate stage, not part of this pack.

How do I know it's time to replace the sponges rather than just rinse them?

If the foam has torn, feels permanently compressed, or no longer springs back after a squeeze, rinsing will not restore flow — fit a new set.

Can I rinse these under the tap?

Avoid it. Chlorinated tap water kills the beneficial bacteria that colonise the media downstream. Rinse in pond water instead.
