HMS Single Arm Kit
Clamps straight onto the tank rim and holds one Hydra fixture at any angle you choose. The HMS Single Arm Kit is Aqua Illumination's clamp-and-pivot mount for a single Hydra 26HD, 32HD, 52HD or 64HD light – no ceiling hooks, no drilling, and no separate rail needed for a one-light setup.
Key features
- Clamps to rimmed or rimless tanks – fits glass and frame up to 3 cm (1.2 in) thick.
- Full pivot arm – angle the fixture over the water without repositioning the clamp.
- Two mounting brackets included – sized for the different Hydra HD fixture bodies, so one kit suits the whole 26/32/52/64 range.
- No drilling or ceiling hardware – the whole mount lives on the tank rim.
- Also mounts Hydra Edge fixtures – pair with the matching Edge HMS adapter kit (sold separately) to run a 44HD, 44FW or 68HD off the same arm.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
- Suitable for a single Hydra 26HD, 32HD, 52HD or 64HD on a rim or glass edge up to 3 cm thick.
- Not suitable for tanks with a rim or cabinet edge thicker than 3 cm – measure before ordering.
- Not suitable for running more than one fixture – for two or more lights over the same tank, use the HMS Rail instead of two single arm kits.

- Hydra Edge HMS Adapter Kit – required if you're mounting a Hydra Edge 44HD, 44FW or 68HD on this arm rather than a classic Hydra HD.
- Hydra 32/64 Flex Arm 18" – a flexible alternative to the pivot arm, for tanks that need the fixture angled further from the rim.
- HMS Hanging Kit – for suspending the HMS rail from the ceiling instead of clamping to the tank.

Common questions
Does this include the light fixture?
No. The HMS Single Arm Kit is the clamp and arm only – the Hydra fixture is sold separately.
Will this fit my Hydra 64HD?
Yes. The kit includes brackets sized for the full Hydra 26HD/32HD/52HD/64HD range, so the same arm works across all four.
Can I mount a Hydra Edge fixture on this arm?
Yes, with the matching Edge adapter kit – the 44HD/44FW and the 68HD use different adapter kits, so check you're ordering the right one for your model.
What if my tank rim is thicker than 3 cm?
The clamp won't seat properly past 3 cm (1.2 in). Talk to us about the HMS Rail and Hanging Kit as a ceiling-mounted alternative.
