Red Sea Reefer 170/MaxE170 Bubble Trap Sponge

• Genuine Red Sea spare part for the sump bubble trap.
• Simple swap for a sponge that has flattened or started to break up.

• Part: bubble trap sponge
• Fits: Red Sea Reefer 170 and MAX E 170

Suitable for the Reefer 170 and MAX E 170 sumps named in the title. Other Red Sea systems have their own sump parts, so check your model before ordering.

Rinse the sponge in tank water taken out at a water change, not tap water, and replace it when it stays flattened, because a clogged sponge restricts flow as well as letting bubbles through.
