Will it fit my light?
This visor is sized for the ReefLED G2 60 body specifically. Red Sea's larger ReefLED G2 115 and G2 170 fixtures use their own visor, sold under a different part number — check your fixture's model before ordering, since the three housings aren't interchangeable.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for anyone running a ReefLED G2 60 who wants to cut glare from a low or rimless mount, or who has noticed light spilling past the tank onto the wall or ceiling. Not suitable for the ReefLED G2 115 or 170, and not a fix for a fixture mounted too low over the water — that's a job for a hanging kit or pendant, not a visor.
Care and maintenance
Wipe down with a damp cloth as part of routine glass and fixture cleaning. Salt creep along the visor edge is the usual reason light starts spilling past it again.

Does this fit the ReefLED G2 115 or 170?
No. This visor is made specifically for the ReefLED G2 60 housing. The G2 115 and G2 170 use their own visor part.
Do I need this, or is it optional?
It's optional. The ReefLED G2 60 runs normally without it — the visor is purely for cutting glare and directing spill light, not for the fixture's operation or cooling.
Will it reduce the light reaching my corals?
No. It blocks light escaping sideways rather than light travelling down into the tank, so output reaching the corals isn't reduced.
