ReefControl Power 6 Deluxe
The same six outlets, with physical switches at the unit. The Red Sea ReefControl Power 6 Deluxe is the standard ReefControl Power 6 with a manual control panel added: backlit on/off pushbuttons for each of the six outlets, plus a master switch, alongside the same 2,400W Australian rating and full ReefBeat app control. It suits anyone who wants app scheduling day to day but doesn't want to reach for a phone every time they need to kill power to a pump.
Key features
- 6 individually controllable outlets – 2,400W combined rating on the Australian 240V unit.
- Manual control panel – backlit on/off pushbutton for every outlet, plus a master switch for all six together.
- Per-outlet power monitoring – spot a device drawing more or less than usual before it fails.
- Feed mode and night mode – pause pumps and skimmers, or step lighting down, on a schedule or with one tap.
- Direct temperature probe input – heater backup and failure alerts independent of your main controller.
- Grounding probe port – dedicated socket for the Red Sea ReefControl Grounding Probe, sold separately.

Which ReefControl Power do I need?

|---|---|---|
| Outlets | 6 | 6 |

| App control | Yes | Yes |
| Manual control panel | No | Yes – backlit on/off pushbutton per outlet, plus a master switch |
The Deluxe costs more for the same switching capacity and the same 2,400W rating – the difference is entirely the physical control panel. If your Wi-Fi is reliable and you're happy running everything from ReefBeat, the standard Power 6 does the same job for less.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for anyone who wants app control day to day but also wants a physical switch on hand – during a Wi-Fi outage, for a quick manual override, or simply because a visible switch is reassuring on equipment that's keeping livestock alive. Not worth the premium if you're comfortable relying on the app alone; the standard Power 6 is functionally identical otherwise.
Safety
Run on an RCD-protected circuit. Keep drip loops on every cable entering or leaving the unit, and mount it above likely water level. Total load across all six outlets should stay within the 2,400W AU rating regardless of whether you're switching via the app or the panel.
Goes well with
- ReefControl Lite – adds probe monitoring alongside the Power unit's switching.
- ReefControl Grounding Probe – plugs into the dedicated port to reduce stray voltage.
- ReefControl Power 6 – the same unit without the manual panel, if app-only control is enough.
Warranty and delivery

Common questions
What does the Deluxe add over the standard Power 6?
A manual control panel – backlit on/off pushbuttons for each of the six outlets and a master switch – on top of the same 2,400W AU rating and ReefBeat app control.
Can I still use the app if I have the manual panel?
Yes, both work together. The panel gives you a physical override; scheduling, monitoring and automation still run through ReefBeat.
Does the manual panel work without Wi-Fi?
Yes – the physical pushbuttons switch outlets locally and don't depend on a Wi-Fi connection, unlike scheduling and remote control through the app.
Do I need the grounding probe with this unit?
No, it's optional, and connects via a dedicated port on the unit whether you have the standard or Deluxe version.
